Design and scale Autodesk SaaS platforms remotely from Ontario, applying cloud architecture, distributed databases, and enterprise Dev Ops expertise. Support complex data flows for construction software.
This Principal Software Developer role focuses on platform development for Forma Data Management cloud services. You will design reliable, secure, and maintainable systems while contributing hands-on implementation and operations. Collaboration spans global teams, software experts, and stakeholders supporting Autodesk’s construction products.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to evolving cloud service architecture and platforms
- Develop scalable services for large user bases and data flows
- Operate cloud products using web technologies and best practices
- Debug challenging technical issues and deliver practical solutions
- Coach developers while sharing advanced technical expertise
- Eight-plus years developing SaaS or cloud-based products
- Strong design, coding, performance, and maintainability skills
- Experience with distributed database technologies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
