POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for ensuring effective fleet maintenance planning, ranging from forecasting and budgeting to vendor coordination and technical reviews, to ensure safe, compliant and optimized aircraft availability.

If you are a holder AME with an M2 rating with solid experience in business aviation and you like to transform technical requirements into concrete and executable maintenance plans, this role offers high visibility and a high level of autonomy throughout the entire fleet lifecycle.

• Ensure accurate forecasting and planning for all scheduled maintenance, in accordance with approved internal and external maintenance programs, company policies, procedures and contractual agreements.
• Plan and reschedule work as needed, according to approved procedures, to optimize the use of resources, tools and facilities across all bases.
• Be able to research, read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals in order to provide accurate estimates of labor and parts required for specific tasks.
• Perform regular reviews of Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB), as required.
• Review vendor scopes of work and proposals, validate their accuracy and present them to stakeholders.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets and present them to stakeholders.
• Review technical documentation and return-to-service certificates to ensure technical line procedures are followed.
• Track aircraft technical deferrals (MEL, CDL) and ensure their timely resolution.
• Maintain the fleet AOG downtime history and support aircraft onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Assist the manager in various related tasks.

• Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) diploma or equivalent.
• Valid AME M2 license issued by Transport Canada.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including experience in business aviation.
• Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent knowledge of CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations) and maintenance coordination.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
