Casual Courier Driver

DHL Express is currently seeking a Casual Courier Driver in Quebec City, QC
. This is a casual position with no set schedule; shift availability must be between 7am and 10pm.

Wage: $20.23/hour, with increases as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Drive a company van to complete assigned deliveries and pickups
• Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout the shift
• Scan and process freight per agreed procedures and security policies
• Accurately sort and process inbound material by deadlines
• Assist the Tracing Department with warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands
• Move freight within the warehouse area as required
• Interact with customers over the phone and at the service counter
• Perform accurate reporting and participate in warehouse organization and clean-up
• Meet all security requirements and maintain a safe, cooperative work environment
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual in French and English (required per Quebec's Bill 96)
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions
• Good knowledge of MS Office; comfortable Excel user
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong multitasking ability and ability to work under pressure
• Able to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments and stand for long periods
• Minimum one year of warehouse/customer service experience (asset)
• Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset)
