Shipping and receiving expertise starts at MDA Space in Montreal, with computer data entry and merchandise handling during 7am-3pm hours.
As a Junior Shipper-Receiver on the Satellite systems team, you will support established shipping and receiving processes. The work includes receiving merchandise, coordinating outbound shipments, packing goods, and completing shipping documents. You may also perform production clerk and general helper duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive merchandise at loading docks or in the yard
- Enter received merchandise into the company system
- Pack goods and complete shipping documents
- Coordinate outbound shipments and provide shipping quotes
- Write receiving and shipping reports
- High school diploma, vocational studies, or equivalent
- One to two years of relevant experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to retrieve and enter computer data
- Good French; basic English is an asset
Build shipping, receiving, documentation, and database experience while supporting MDA Space’s Montreal Satellite systems team.
