Volunteer or Chaperone School Year

Volunteers/Chaperones must be approved by the School Site and Human Resources prior to being a Volunteer/Chaperone.
What You Need To Be a Volunteer- Apply online with QCUSD
- Universal Background Clearance Check (HR department will submit background check automatically once online application is submitted)
- AZ DPS Fingerprint Background Check (HR will contact you with further instructions once your application has been submitted & approved)
- Volunteers do not pay for the AZ DPS Fingerprint Background Check; HR will send a voucher code with instructions.
- After you submit your application online you must contact the school(s) where you wish to volunteer. Volunteer applications cannot be processed without approval from the school office.
All Volunteers and Chaperones are required to be fingerprinted and consent to a background check. Please allow at least 3 weeks for the background checks to clear. Field Trip chaperones must be at least 21 years of age.
