Factory Automation Engineer

Job Summary

As a Factory Automation (FA) Engineer, you will support the design, integration, and optimization of automated equipment and robotic systems within the manufacturing process. You will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to enhance productivity, reliability, and efficiency through automation technology.

• Support equipment automation and robot integration across production lines.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for automated systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to install, test, and validate automation equipment.
• Optimize automation parameters for safety, cycle time, and reliability.
• Maintain system documentation, including ladder logic, schematics, and sequence diagrams.
• Participate in line commissioning, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with LGES safety and equipment standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
• Experience in robotics or automation systems preferred (internships accepted).
• Familiarity with PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens) or robot programming (Fanuc, Nachi, ABB) a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced production environment.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing automation and control systems.
• Robot operation and calibration.
• CAD tools for design and simulation.
• MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
