We’re hiring a Veterinary Assistant for our growing animal hospital.

Salary:
Across> $17 - $21.50 / hour

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures under direct supervision, helpingויז to create positive, lasting impressions and build trust with clients and their pets.
• Provide written and verbal communication to clients regarding their pet’s care, answering questions and educating them about treatment plans.
• Deliver WOW customer service to clients and pets.
• Manage medical records through practice management software.
• Dispense medication, perform x‑rays, blood draws, place catheters, obtain samples, provide treatments, run diagnostic equipment, administer vaccines, and provide animal restraint when necessary.
• FB‑四 setup, break‑down, cleaning, and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Assist with cleaning all areas of the hospital.

• Comfortably interacting with furry, fuzzy, feathered, and scaly friends with calm and compassion.
• Have strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Be a certified veterinary technician (preferred).
• Associate degree in veterinary assisting (preferred).
