Job Summary
La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring a Sales Consultant to sell luxury furniture and accessories at our Queen Creek, AZ showroom. The role combines customer service with high‑end sales, providing a base salary plus unlimited commission and comprehensive training in premium retail and interior design.
Responsibilities- Guide clients through a premium sales experience, curating luxury looks and closing sales.
- Maintain customer records, complete sales paperwork, collect deposits and fees, and ensure timely order processing.
- Assist in training and coaching new peers on product knowledge and selling processes.
- Participate in company training, store meetings, and perform house calls to client homes as required.
- Follow company policies, including those on harassment, attendance, sales procedures, and customer interaction.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decisions.
- Previous sales or retail experience, particularly in luxury or high‑end environments (major plus).
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods; reliable transportation for house calls.
- Organizational and problem‑solving skills; familiarity with computer technology.
Training Pay: $22.00 per hour for two weeks (no commission).
After Training: Base pay $45,864 (salary) with uncapped monthly commission ranging from 6% to 7.5% on individual sales.
