ORR Bilingual (Spanish/English) Senior Youth Care Worker – Canyon State Academy, Queen Creek, Arizona

Rite of Passage is hiring a Bilingual Senior Youth Care Worker to provide supervision and support to at‑risk youth in a secure residential setting. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $17.50 and includes guaranteed overtime, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more.

• Directly supervise youth and ensure daily schedule compliance.
• Escort youth to medical appointments and community outings.
• Support youth in developing life‑skills and classroom participation.
• Maintain accurate incident and progress documentation.
• Participate in training and quality‑improvement activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a child welfare or direct‑care setting (internal candidates must be a Coach Counselor with at least 90 days of experience).
• Experience working with at‑risk youth or at least 60 hours of related college coursework.
• Completed Initial Qualifications Training (Tech 22) and Operations, Treatment and Human Resources Essentials before placement.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum age 21.
• Pass criminal background check, drug screen (no THC), physical, TB, and child‑abuse registry screening.

Shift A (Day):
Sunday – every other Wednesday, 7 a.m.–8 p.m. or 8 a.m.–9 p.m. (1‑hour break each day)

Shift B (Day): every other Wednesday – Saturday, 7 a.m.–8 p.m. or 8 a.m.–9 p.m. (1‑hour break each day)

Shift A (Night):
Sunday – every other Wednesday, 8 p.m.–8 a.m.

Shift B (Night): every other Wednesday – Saturday, 8 p.m.–8 a.m.

Schedule may be adjusted to meet program needs.
