Physician​/Family Practice​/Locum​/MD - Primary Care - Assessment Doctor

Primary Care or Occupational Medicine Provider needed on a full-time basis for growing primary care, injury, and pain medicine practice. Any physician with experience in workers' compensation can enjoy this Monday-Friday role with no call, evening, or weekends required! Job Function:

• The physician will work at Queens airport providing physicals and injury assessments of employees.
• No on-call responsibilities, standard business hours, and flexible scheduling (9-5 or 10-6).
• Conduct primary care evaluations, general health assessments, and mental health assessments for patients in the disability and workers' compensation programs.
• Evaluate patients with short-term injuries or chronic conditions to determine their ability to work and overall mental well-being.
• Assess mental health status, identifying conditions such as depression and anxiety, and monitor for red flags related to prescription management.
• Diagnose medical conditions, manage chronic health issues, and coordinate care by referring most Medicaid long-term cases to external providers.
