Job Description
  • Our Methods Technician instigates, calculates, designs and monitors all foundry methods.
  • Monitors, reports and recommends solutions on issues involving capacity constraints and excess capacity.
  • Provides technical advice and suggest improvements in quality systems and sample procedures.
  • Delivers cost saving improvements across the plant, including reduction of waste, improvements in casting yields, improvements in methoding systems and the introduction of new technologies.
  • Providing technical assessments of foundry consumables.
  • Ensuring method weights are up to date to deliver accurate casting weights.
  • Continuously improves production routes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in similar foundry environment with involvement in Methoding.
  • Demonstrable understanding and hands on experience in planning workflow.
  • Good computer skills required (MS Office etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
