Kitchen Porter

We currently have an opportunity for a casual Kitchen Porter to join our amazing team at Hopetoun House Edinburgh

Hopetoun House is one of Scotland's finest Stately Homes and is managed by the Hopetoun House Preservation Trust. Hopetoun currently welcomes around 50,000 visitors per year and is graded as a 5 Star attraction by Visit Scotland.

• £13.00 Per hour
• Casual work
• Training and opportunities to progress within the kitchen team
• Staff meals and employee discounts (where applicable)

• Wash and clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, work surfaces, floors, and storage
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
• Help FOH team to clean the tables in the café
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café and restaurant environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
