PositionSummary
JM Huber is seeking a Forklift Operator at Active Minerals International, an Attapulgite Clay production facility in Quincy, FL. The Forklift Operator loads trucks and containers according to work orders and moves pallets or bags from the production areas.
Entry Rate: $18.90
1st Shift: 7 am – 4 pm M‑F, overtime and weekends as needed

Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret packaging work orders
- Identify proper orders to be loaded by matching pickup number with bill of lading number
- Inspect loads to ensure they match work order and bill of lading before loading
- Perform pre‑operational checks on equipment at the beginning of each shift
- Inspect and load trucks, containers and boxcars according to work order and truck loading pattern
- Operate stretch‑wrap machine
- Operate forklift as needed to move pallets, bags or clean up hopper
- Maintain housekeeping around work area, including sweeping the warehouse
Work is performed in a production environment. Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb up to 70 ft. Operate hand and foot controls simultaneously. Manual dexterity required for operation of hand controls and/or computer keyboard. Vision and hearing are also required.
Education- High School Diploma
- GED

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicant's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
U.S. Market‑Based Salary Range: [$18.90 – $19.90]
In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit‑sharing payout.
