Administer medications via oral, injection, self-administration, and other methods
Perform physical and mental health assessments and psychiatric screeners
Document medication administration and nursing assessments accurately
Conduct MAR reviews and medication counts; monitor medication stock and refill status
Communicate with clients regarding medication needs and coordinate refill requests
Room clients and collect preliminary health data (e.g., vitals, samples)
Complete documentation for assessments, interventions, educational groups, and safety plans
Maintain accurate medical and medication records; assist with lab and phlebotomy duties
Serve as a resource for medical issues, infectious disease control, and hygiene
Participate in required meetings and perform duties as assigned by nursing leadership
Required:
Current licensure in the state of practice (LPN or RN) OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Preferred:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to accurately document and maintain electronic health records.
Commitment to confidentiality and patient safety.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
