Hospitalists General Medicine/Observation Unit is a fast-paced environment seeing a wide range of patients. The medical management of our Observation Patients is that all tests and procedures are completed within 24 hours, creating a fast-paced environment. The most enjoyable part of the job of caring for Observation Patients is that most patients are ambulatory and independent or with minimum assistance.
Education/Training/ExperienceRequired
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good verbal communication skills
- C.N.A
- OR be of at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certification.
- CNA certification in good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry
- PCA or SNA
- Must have completed one of the following:- Patient Care Experience
- Completed a C.N.A. Program
- Completed at least sophomore year of a nursing program (SNA)
- CNA certification in good standing on the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Healthcare Worker Registry (N/A for PCA or SNA)
- Non-Exempt Hourly
