Overview: Will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting customizations and extensions within the Oracle EBS platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle EBS modules, database architecture, and programming languages to deliver efficient and scalable solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and Customization:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Oracle EBS applications, reports, forms, and interfaces.
- Create and modify PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions to support business requirements.
- Develop and customize Oracle Workflow processes and Concurrent Programs.
- System Integration:
- Build and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems using APIs, Web Services, or other technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across systems.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues within Oracle EBS modules.
- Provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS customizations, extensions, and integrations.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions for system defects or performance bottlenecks.
- Upgrades and Enhancements:
- Participate in Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for new features or enhancements.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and team members as needed.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and Oracle best practices.
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle EBS Developer (minimum 2 years).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS, or others.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Workflow Builder.
- Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and XML Publisher.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS architecture, APIs, and table structures.
- Experience with system integrations and data migration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle EBS applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle BI tools or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies.
- Oracle EBS certification is a plus.
