** Overview

** Job Function
** Reporting into the Production Supervisor, the Floating Operator will be based out of our Quincy IL site and will be responsible for operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas.
** Responsibilities
* ** Run mixing machines for batch mixing of material.
* Regularly operate forklift.
* Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations.
* Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.
* Housekeeping duties, such as sweeping in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant parking areas, and general clean-up. Make sure all material is returned to proper containers or trash area as directed.
* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
* Other duties as required to maintain an efficient operation.
** Required Experience
*** High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders
* Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
* A strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work well in team environment
** Preferred Experience
*** Formal Technical education
** Hours/Shift
*** 12 Hours Shifts 6:00am-6:00pm OR 6:00pm-6:00am – based on business needs
** Pay Rate*** $22.75/hour plus $1.00 shift differential if applicable
