Material Handler
Wage: $17.50 per hour

6:00am-2:00pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Material Handler position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Verify incoming deliveries for accuracy.
• Identify and label materials with their proper stock locations.
• Move materials from receiving to designated storage locations.
• Accurately pick parts for production and customer orders.
• Pick customer kits and prepare them for shipping.
• Record inventory receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP system.
• Follow material handling procedures to prevent damage, loss, and inventory errors.
• Maintain 5S standards, including clean, organized work areas and safe operating conditions.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work overtime as required to meet business needs.
• Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• One to three years of warehouse experience.
• Two years of experience using an inventory management system to process transactions, generate reports, reconcile inventory, and investigate discrepancies.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
