QPS Employment Group has a great Production Worker – Press Operator position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Operate manufacturing equipment, hoists, and production machinery.
• Load and unload materials and finished products.
• Monitor machine performance and identify defects.
• Make minor adjustments and notify supervisors of issues.
• Complete housekeeping and safety inspections.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, industrial, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and assigned shifts as needed.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read blueprints and production documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to identify quality concerns and production issues.
• Ability to maintain productivity while meeting safety and quality expectations.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to consistently lift 50-100 pounds depending on position and department.
• Forklift Operators must be able to manually roll and position wheels exceeding 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot, loud, and physically demanding environments.
