Wage: $20.03 per hour

7:00am-3:00pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Production Worker/Machine Operator position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Responsibilities- Operate manufacturing equipment, hoists, and production machinery.
- Load and unload materials and finished products.
- Monitor machine performance and identify defects.
- Make minor adjustments and notify supervisors of issues.
- Complete housekeeping and safety inspections.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to consistently lift 50–100 pounds depending on position and department.
- Forklift Operators must be able to manually roll and position wheels exceeding 100 pounds.
- Ability to work in hot, loud, and physically demanding environments.
