Evening Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Join The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy – we are seeking an LPN staff nurse for the evening shift (2:30pm-11pm). Full‑time and part‑time positions are available.

• $29.04/hr – $31.04/hr (base pay)

• Participate in planning and coordination of patient care with RN and physician and follow the care plan for each patient.
• Accurately report and record the patient’s condition and care, including signs and symptoms indicative of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and teach appropriate self‑care techniques.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions for all patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures during any catastrophic event.

• Illinois state license as an LPN.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
