OverviewThe Analyst III - MDM Support plays a critical role in vendor and item set-up and maintenance activities across Ahold Delhaize USA. This position involves collaborating with various departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective vendor and item set-up management & controls. This role is responsible for supporting positive vendor relationships, training, vendor issue resolution and root cause analysis, while following control protocols in support of master data management strategies.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD.
Responsibilities- Acts as a primary point of contact for vendors and internal ADUSA business teams when support and guidance is needed during the vendor and item set-up and maintenance process.
- Facilitates communication and training between internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Regularly trains ADUSA functional business areas and vendors on effective vendor and item set-up and maintenance and provides ongoing performance feedback to all stakeholders.
- Monitors vendor and internal stakeholder compliance with established vendor and item set-up polices.
- Assists in conducting vendor audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Gathers and analyzes vendor master data, prepares reports for management and relevant teams.
- Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of vendor and item set-up, maintenance, and master data support initiatives.
- Analyzes data insights to identify areas of improvement and recommends appropriate action plans.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of vendor and item set-up and maintenance processes and workflows.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance of vendor and item set-up and maintenance.
- Participates in master data related meetings, providing valuable insights and updates.

- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or related field and/or equivalent professional work experience
- 3-5 years' previous experience in vendor management, internal controls, or similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimize vendor relationships.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Attention to detail, well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Complete understanding and ability to apply principles and standards. Knowledge of industry practices.
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
- Sets objectives for own job with the understanding of how output would affect, and impact other job areas related to own job.
- Contributes and provides input to the development of operational area, (e.g. work unit/project team) goals within the context of own job area.

- Requires travel - typically 10-20%.
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480
Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
