Solutions Architect

Our client in the banking industry is seeking a Solutions Architect for Digital Consumer Banking. The architect will recommend operational strategies, manage strategic architecture accounts, and influence business decisions. They will evaluate compliance with technology standards and collaborate with business groups on implementation opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to understand strategy and future needs.
• Communicate monthly updates and produce presentations to senior management on strategic matters.
• Consult with architecture and technical teams on systems design, implementation, and process improvement.
• Develop project scopes, business cases, and roadmaps that align with business and IT strategies.
• Lead the creation of architecture blueprints, standards, and operational plans.
• Identify cost‑saving projects and improve efficiencies across corporate lines.
• Mentor and guide best practices, design standards, and implementation strategies.
• Perform discovery analysis, define client issues, and document technical solutions.
• Act as liaison between Business Units and Consumer Banking IT throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct current state analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Consult with prospective and existing clients to map business needs to solutions.

• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Experience with Digital Banking and related banking functional concepts:
  Customer Authentication, Payments, Billpay, monetary movements, Zelle, Fund Now, Transfer Now.
• Proficient in Restful APIs and API‑led design.
• Experience creating logical/functional architecture diagrams and use‑case sequence diagrams.
• Strong integration design experience.

• Cybersecurity concepts such as MFA, encryption standards, and device biometrics.
• Experience conducting cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Background designing online and mobile banking applications.
• Familiarity with high‑traffic applications, AWS, APIs, Event‑driven architectures (Kafka / MQ / Event Bridge), React
  
  JS / Java.
• Excellent communication, team‑player, and proactive mindset.
• Experience collaborating closely with business and technical owners.
• Fluency in Spanish (nice to have, not required).
