Deputy Assistant Chief Information Officer; DACIO

Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced healthcare technology leader to join a leading healthcare organization as a Deputy Assistant Chief Information Officer (DACIO), responsible for driving clinical technology strategy, enterprise applications, and IT operations that support patient care and business objectives. This role is technically “hybrid” but as of now only reports onsite 1 day per month to a Quincy, MA office location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise clinical applications, EHR platforms, and technology services.
• Drive system modernization, operational excellence, and technology roadmaps.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Manage technical teams, resources, performance, and service delivery.
• Establish governance, quality standards, and operational metrics.
• Evaluate new technologies, enhancements, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT leadership experience in healthcare or large enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting EHR and clinical applications.
• Strong background in team leadership, SDLC, and technology delivery.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Cerner/Oracle Health or Meditech experience.
• Knowledge of HIE and healthcare interoperability.
• AWS and/or Azure experience.
• Agile, change management, and process improvement experience.
• Healthcare technology transformation leadership.
