- Job Title: Nursing Unit Manager (RN or LPN)
- Schedule: Full‑time, various shifts (details provided)
- Pay Rate: $40.00 – $57.00 per hour, based on experience
- Pay Type: Per Hour

- Lead and supervise nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, fostering a collaborative and patient‑centered environment
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies
- Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting continuous professional development
- Provide guidance and oversight to Nursing Assistants and new team members
- Monitor and review training programs for new hires and orientation staff
- Oversee infection control practices and implement updates to maintain safety standards
- Greet new admissions and participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
- Manage workflow efficiently within time constraints to optimize patient outcomes
- Contribute to Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, analyzing data to improve care quality
- Report to the Director of Nursing and work closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing and Staff Development Coordinator
- Active Massachusetts nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Minimum of 1 year of unit management experience in a nursing home setting
- Experience with electronic medical records; PCC experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate teams
