Overview
The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $19.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $19.25 USD - $28.90 USD per hour. This role is with Target and includes on-demand scheduling where shifts are posted by leaders or team members and picked up via the myTime app.
On-Demand Team Members (TM) may not be included on the posted weekly schedule and must create their own schedule by picking up shifts. Attendance and engagement are required: pick up shifts at least every 4 weeks (minimum 4 hours). If unable to respond to contact attempts or if no shifts are worked within 5 months, employment may be terminated. A Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule are required before starting, after which shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.
Responsibilities- Create a welcoming experience for guests while completing daily tasks.
- Engage guests to assist with their specific needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
- Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock.
- Assist with truck unloads and stock product on the sales floor.
- Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments.
- Conduct weekly price change workloads and ensure proper signing for all departments.
- Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Support execution of major transitions and maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-Up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
- Perform other duties based on business needs.
- Enjoy interacting with guests and fellow team members and provide great guest service.
- Thrive in a fast-moving, physically active role; teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key.
- Open to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
- Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames.
- Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members; ability to communicate using multiple devices and scanners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions promptly.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
- Climb ladders safely; be able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
- Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts; failure to work at least one shift within 5 months may lead to administrative termination.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments as needed (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
