Your Role as Commercial Insurance Account Executive

As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will play a critical role in managing and growing a book of Commercial Lines accounts. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, in-depth insurance knowledge, and the ability to identify client needs and deliver expert coverage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management & Client Service
    • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
    • Provide expert coverage advice and solutions tailored to client needs
  • Policy Administration & Renewal Management
    • Oversee policy renewals, ensuring smooth and timely delivery
    • Identify gaps in coverage and present proactive solutions
    • Work closely with carriers and internal teams to secure the best coverage options
  • Business Development & Growth
    • Drive growth through account rounding, cross-selling, and upselling
    • Seek opportunities to expand accounts and generate referrals
  • Other Duties as Assigned
What You Need to Succeed

Competencies:

Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail;
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
Relationship-focused mindset with a passion for client satisfaction

Qualifications:

3 years of commercial insurance experience;
Active Property & Casualty license (required);
Strong underwriting and coverage knowledge;

Experience with carrier rating systems and AMS
360 (a plus)
