Security Officer – State Site, Quincy, MA

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in Quincy, MA.

Job Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 4 PM – 12 AM

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Position Type: Full Time

Candidate is required to have 1+ years of previous security experience.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or granting access as required by site policies.
• Support emergency preparedness by participating in drills and following established protocols during actual events.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
