Pump Mechanic

Incredible Direct Hire Opportunity for an experienced Pump Mechanic with this established manufacturer in the Quincy area!

The Pump Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, installations and monitoring of a variety of equipment, systems and components.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Perform maintenance on systems to include: fractionation, hydrolysis, separations, distillations and others
-Perform repairs on pumps, valves and steam traps
-Lubricating equipment
-Flange work
-Perform work on scaffolding and rigging

Pay range is $/hr with incredible benefits! Schedule will be Mon-Fri - 6:00am-2:30pm with occasional on call.

To be successful in this role, the Pump Mechanic will have:
-High School Diploma/GED
-5+

Experience with mechanical maintenance - industrial pump experience preferred
-Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, shop tools and similar
-Strong preference for experience with manual mills and lathes
-Ability to work at heights up to 120 feet
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
