Job Purpose

Duties:
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Sturtevant, WI will develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for new product and product enhancement programs. Responsibilities include using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM/DFA and FMEA, developing manufacturing planning, initial tooling requirements, capability requirements, control plans, and assessments. The role improves manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new technologies, and cost reduction activities.

Other duties include designing equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions, evaluating worker productivity, recommending improvements to increase manpower efficiency, establishing accident prevention measures, resolving technical problems, and recommending production improvements. Salary: $104,915 - $129,375 per year.

Experience Required

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a closely related field and three years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or related occupation. In lieu of a master’s degree plus three years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or a closely related field and five years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or related occupation is acceptable.

Experience must include three years of work in manufacturing industry, advanced engineering methods (DFM/DFA and FMEA), virtual CAD tools for simulating new designs, coordinating product launch from design to production line, developing manufacturing processes, evaluating tooling needs, conducting cost analysis, performing time studies, ergonomic assessments, and process flow evaluations, utilizing manufacturing process planning and problem management systems, and implementing change control processes.
