Vice President of Finance

Andis Company | Sturtevant, Wisconsin | Full-Time, Onsite

Andis Company, a fourth-generation, family-owned manufacturer headquartered in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as the primary financial partner to our Co-CEO’s and Owners. Our clippers, trimmers, shavers, blades and accessories reach customers in more than 90 countries, and our global sourcing footprint continues to grow. This is a rare opportunity to step into the seat and learn the business alongside the incumbent prior to their retirement in 2027, joining a team who are treated like family and guided by our Core Values of Innovation, Excellence, Integrity, Respect and Teamwork.

What

You'll Do:

As Vice President of Finance, you’ll direct the overall finance, accounting and reporting functions while serving as a strategic partner across the business — engaging proactively, offering creative solutions grounded in data, and helping drive profitability and accelerate efficiencies. Below are high-level activities, with the intention of sharing additional detail as conversation progresses.

  • Direct the overall finance, accounting and reporting functions, and deliver timely results against benchmarks with insight tailored to each audience.
  • Oversee manufacturing accounting, including standard costs, variances and the annual cost roll.
  • Support operating partners on supply chain cost analysis such as tariffs, freight and inventory.
  • Lead cash management strategy, capital expenditures and working capital, and maintain relationships with our audit, banking, insurance and tax partners.
  • Establish financial controls, governance and business metrics that support our annual and long-term goals.
  • Apply AI and modern tooling to streamline close, reporting and forecasting — and own the controls that govern them.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on pricing, trade spend and e-commerce/marketplace profitability across our B2B, B2C, distributor, retail and DTC channels.
  • Support SIOP and forecasting efforts, partnering with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain to translate demand plans into financial outcomes.
  • Lead and develop the finance team.
  • Serve on the Executive and Strategic Planning Teams.
What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, including leading the finance function at a company of similar or greater scale.
  • Command of standard costing, manufacturing variance and the annual cost roll.
  • Experience in a distribution environment — retail, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer or third-party distributors — with a track record of building profitability models and leading cost reduction strategies that improve business profitability.
  • Understanding of global business environments, including imports, duties, tariffs, currency and transfer pricing.
  • ERP fluency and genuine technical savvy, with a track record of improving data quality and driving efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message for the plant floor, to the executive team.
  • A hands-on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves approach to improving financial performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA strongly preferred, and an MBA is welcome but not required.
  • Experience in a retail or consumer products environment is a plus.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
  • Competitive compensation, including base salary and an annual performance‑based incentive.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
  • Direct access to ownership and a genuine voice in how the business is run.
  • A deliberate transition period alongside the incumbent finance leader before stepping fully into the role.
  • The chance to be part of a company with a rich history, a strong culture and a bright future.
