We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to maintain CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, an eye for detail, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

2nd shift: 2:45 pm
-12:45 am, M-TH

Racine, WI

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Salary: $18-20 based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Interpret technical documents including CAD models, G-code, work instructions, and setup sheets.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performance.
  • Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs, and other precision instruments.
  • Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues related to tooling, programming, or part quality.
  • Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and quality control logs.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with engineers and programmers to improve processes and resolve production challenges.
  • Uphold safety standards and comply with company and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or technical certification in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines (HAAS, Mazak, Fanuc, DMG Mori, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of G-code, CNC controls, and machining principles.
  • Proficient with precision measurement tools and GD&T.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
