Position OverviewWe are seeking Aluminum MIG & TIG Welders and S&T Steel MIG & TIG Welders for first shift at our Racine location. This role is part of our transformation journey, where we accelerate Lean Cultural Change and embrace new leadership.

- Perform work in a safe manner.
- Weld aluminum pressure vessels and airtight components using GMAW Pulse Spray and GTAW techniques.
- Adjust parameter settings for different material thicknesses.
- Learn and operate robotic welding set‑up.
- Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specified tolerances.
- Maintain tools and equipment provided for assembly operations.
- Keep the work area organized.
- Comply with all ISO 9001 quality standards, policies, and procedures of API.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certification from an accredited technical school (preferred).
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Examples of GTAW and GMAW proficiency.
- Mechanical aptitude and functional knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and measurements.
- Standing for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
- Frequent walking throughout the production floor.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25–50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance or equipment.
- Pushing and pulling carts, equipment, or materials using manual or mechanical means.
- Repetitive hand and wrist motions (assembling, sorting, packaging).
- Manual dexterity – good hand‑eye coordination for handling small parts or tools.
- Climbing occasional ladders or steps.
- Sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read labels, safety signs, and gauges.
- Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to respond to alarms and verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or humid) and exposure to noise, dust, odors, and manufacturing chemicals.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code – Aluminum).
