This will be a third shift role (11:00pm-7:30am Sunday-Thursday) at our Racine facility.

* Job Duties:
*** Coordinates the day-to-day operation by leading and directing a group of employees to assure a smooth workflow;
Organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads and staff to meet production schedule.
* Reads and follows specifications and other instructions in order to build and assemble products and examining completed work to detect defects and verify conformance to work orders, correct any problems
* Provide a thorough technical understanding of production and assembly practices.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures
* Acts as liaison, representing the team in general; point of contact for general assembly and quality control questions
* Trains new employees and instructs employees on the proper use of equipment and tools
* Display strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with Managers, Planning and Customer Service.
* Provide input to improve assembly processes with a focus on safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost.

* Education and Experience:
*** High School Degree/GED required
* 5+ years of experience in assembly/leadership desired
*
* Qualifications:
*** Experience in a Lean environment preferred
* Experience with electronic assembly required
* Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude along with the ability to read prints and measure parts while maintaining a customer-focused mentality required
* Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekend shifts as needed required

* Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test
