2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Direct Hire)

Location: Racine, WI (On-site)

Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 base + bonus potential

Bonus: 6% target, up to 12% based on company performance

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting a new production line
, ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous setting and has a strong focus on operational excellence, people leadership, and continuous improvement
.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and safety
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support training initiatives
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee multiple manufacturing departments on the shop floor
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality using operational metrics
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve performance
  • Support safety, quality, and productivity initiatives
  • Partner with managers and peers to align on production goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and labor agreements
What We’re Looking For Experience & Education
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to supervise 20+ employees
  • Experience working in a union manufacturing environment
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing / continuous improvement
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations and holding teams accountable
  • Self-reliant leader who can operate with minimal oversight
