** About the Role
** As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple manufacturing departments, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high-quality standards. You’ll lead by example, empower your team, and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to coach, delegate, and drive change will make a measurable difference.###
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Lead and Inspire:
** Provide clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities to hourly employees, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
* ** Drive Operational Excellence:
** Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards using operational metrics and on-the-floor presence. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
* ** Champion Continuous Improvement:
** Utilize lean manufacturing principles to develop and execute solutions that reduce waste, improve safety, and enhance overall performance.
* ** Collaborate and Communicate:
** Partner with managers and peers to share insights, recommend improvements, and align on production goals.
* ** Ensure Compliance:
** Maintain adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and labor agreements while promoting a safe and organized work environment.
* ** Develop Talent:
** Conduct performance evaluations, manage training programs, and build a flexible, skilled workforce prepared for future challenges.###
** What We’re Looking For**

* Education:
** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
* *
* Experience:
** 5+ years in manufacturing operations with prior supervisory or leadership experience.
* ** Skills &
Competencies:
** + Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities. + Proven track record of leading teams in a union environment. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing conditions. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing software systems. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
