Procurement Manager

Reports To:

Head of Supply Chain / Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory planning of raw materials and high SKU portfolios
. The role is responsible for ensuring cost‑effective, timely, and quality‑driven procurement to support uninterrupted production and business growth.

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and consumables in a manufacturing setting
• Manage procurement operations for large SKU counts
  , ensuring optimal stock levels and material availability
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve cost savings, quality, and delivery performance
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to ensure continuity of supply
• Collaborate closely with production, planning, quality, and finance teams to align procurement with production schedules
• Implement and maintain inventory control policies
  , including safety stock, reorder points, and MOQ optimization
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
• Track and report key procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, lead times, and inventory turns
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, systems, and supplier relationships
• Manage and mentor procurement staff, where applicable

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering
  , or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience managing raw materials procurement and high SKU volumes
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory management, and production planning
• Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Strategic sourcing and cost optimization
• Inventory and SKU complexity management
• Data analysis and forecasting
• Cross‑functional collaboration
• Attention to detail and decision‑making under pressure

• Experience in FMCG / Automotive / Pharma / Industrial Manufacturing
• Certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or APICS
• Experience working in high‑volume or fast‑paced production environments
