Responsible for auditing the Master Production Schedule (Heijunka Board) to ensure material is available to support the build and pack schedule. Verify existing Kanban's for compliance with existing parameters. Communicate with Manufacturing and Planning as necessary to recommend schedule adjustments for finished goods, subassemblies, or component parts to avoid disruptions resulting in downtime.
Your responsibilities will include- Review availability of internal materials to help ensure feasibility of Heijunka Board schedule. Identify potential material related shortages and work with Planning and/or Manufacturing to resolve and/or adjust schedule.
- Communicate with Planning and/or Manufacturing to adjust and address material shortages proactively.
- Review purchased part and subassembly Kanban health and make recommendations to adjust parameters and/or expedite replenishment and advise Planning and/or Manufacturing on changes needed.
- Request production schedules as needed where required to help drive availability of sub-assemblies.
