We are currently seeking skilled manufacturing professionals for a 6-month contract opportunity based in Neenah, WI. This role offers a compensation rate of $36 per hour for PTH-Wave Solder Machine Operators, with additional openings for Rework Solder positions available at the same facility for $30 per hour.

Role Overview

• Manage the operation of selective and wave soldering machinery specifically for plated through-hole circuit board production.
• Utilize equipment such as Ersa Versaflow 4XL and 366 selective solder units, alongside Electrovert EC3 and EC4 wave solder systems; candidates should possess prior proficiency with comparable hardware to successfully pass internal competency assessments.
• Apply wave soldering techniques for single-pass component attachment, while utilizing selective soldering methods to ensure precise application on boards featuring dual-sided components.
• Execute machine setups, initiate appropriate programs, verify that operational parameters align with established profiles, and adjust conveyor speeds to support efficient production flow, while escalating technical or quality concerns to the appropriate engineering or support staff.
• Oversee daily production tasks including loading conveyors, monitoring for operational anomalies, maintaining flux and solder pot levels, and performing routine shift-based equipment upkeep to ensure consistent performance.
• Perform manual component insertion, or stuffing, by strictly adhering to assembly instructions to ensure correct orientation and placement of parts like capacitors, resistors, and transistors prior to machine processing, while remaining flexible to rotate between manual prep and machine operation duties as production needs dictate.

Production requirements involve handling boards containing between 2 and 60 through-hole components, including various inductors, resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
