Position Title:

Fabricator/Welder Wage: $22.00-$29.00/hour + $1.50/hour shift premium

Shift: 2nd

Hours:

3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for a 2nd-shift manufacturing opportunity in Racine, WI. This position requires a skilled MIG/TIG welder with strong fabrication abilities, excellent blueprint reading skills, and previous sheet metal manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable completing setups, building fixtures, fabricating parts from blueprints, and consistently producing high-quality finished work.

Fabricator/Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal components
  • Set up welding and fabrication equipment for assigned jobs
  • Fabricate and assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Build, modify, and utilize fixtures and jigs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Measure, cut, fit, tack, and weld sheet metal components
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using appropriate measuring tools
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy
  • Make adjustments as necessary to meet specifications
  • Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
Fabricator/Welder Requirements:
  • Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required
  • Sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication experience required
  • Strong fabrication and fitting skills
  • Experience performing welding and fabrication setups
  • Experience building and working with fixtures
  • Strong blueprint reading skills required
  • Ability to read weld symbols, dimensions, and tolerances
  • Experience using fabrication and measuring tools
  • Ability to work independently from blueprints and specifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
