Epic is seeking a Seasonal Gardener to join our horticulture team at the Madison, WI campus. The position is based in Madison and requires relocation to the area. Relocation assistance is available. Pay starts at $20 per hour.

• Assist horticulturists with maintenance of garden areas, green roofs, orchard, and prairies.
• Mow, trim, mulch, water, weed, and compost garden beds.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve crouching, bending, kneeling, and lifting.

Seasonal employees immediately accrue paid vacation and sick time, and can participate in Epic’s 401(k). Employees who return for multiple seasons are eligible for comprehensive health care benefits and a sabbatical. Epic offers merit-based annual raises.

• Experience using commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools is preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the growing season (~April–November).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Live within 45 minutes of Epic’s campus in Verona, WI.
• COVID‑19 vaccination is required.
