Abound Credit Union is now hiring friendly, enthusiastic, and just overall awesome personalities to manage the mortgage origination process and internal sales team across all credit union production channels and markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Coaching / Training - Oversees all Credit Union internal mortgage sales functions and is actively engaged with coaching/training of Internal Mortgage Loan Officers and Branch Lenders (MSRs) in industry best practices for conventional conforming, portfolio and government lending.
- Application Management - Assigns branch and online applications received in the Mortgage Department including short apps from MRB (call center).
- Pipeline Management - Ensures departmental efficiency is at its highest by maximizing loan pull through rates through superior experience, demonstrating expertise in the home buying and mortgage process and diligent follow up and pipeline management.
- Internal Networking - Works with the Mortgage Managers and Branch Managers to maximize branch activity, mortgage knowledge, engagement and loan growth in each market that we serve.
- Metrics - Develop and analyze monthly loan reports to monitor shifts in production metrics, shortcomings and opportunities for the credit union.

What We Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to successfully complete and pass NMLS licensing requirements.
- Ability to teach and help others develop and grow in this area.
- Extensive and detailed knowledge of real estate mortgage lending laws and regulations.
