25 01421    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Engineer to join our New Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing technology and a passion for innovation. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing new motor products from concept to production.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing processes for new platform motor designs and customer-specific designs.
* Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the best manufacturing methods.
* Design and implement production workflows, equipment, and tooling.
* Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Investigate and propose potential areas for automation during the new product development process as well as with newly launched programs.
* Develop process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
* Design and implement tooling to facilitate building motor components, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity.
* Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
* Provide technical support and training to production staff.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with new product development experience.
* Proficiency in CAD software.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, equipment, and tooling design.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
* Willingness to travel up to 25%.
