RoleElectromagnetic Design Engineer (Full‑time)
ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze electromagnetic systems and components; develop and optimize motor designs; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project objectives; ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications; create technical documentation; troubleshoot design issues; contribute to product development and performance enhancement.
Qualifications- Experience in electromagnetic design, analysis, and motor design
- Strong proficiency in simulation tools and software related to electromagnetic analysis
- Knowledge of power systems, power transmission, and control systems
- Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork
- Ability to work on‑site in Radford, VA
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
