Behavioral Health Technician; Part Time

Summary

At Pyramid Healthcare in Radford we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment. Since 1999, we have operated over 80 programs in 8 states, offering a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health care for individuals with substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues.

Position Details

Hourly Rate: $15 per hour (before shift differentials)

Schedule:

12‑hour shifts, 24 hours per week with rotating weekend scheduling

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
• Maintain client documentation
• Observe and document client self‑administration of medication as applicable
• Coordinate client activities
• Follow objectives of treatment plans and client‑specific needs
• Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses including crisis intervention
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
• Assist with the dietary needs of clients
• Other duties as assigned

Education

High School Diploma required
