Senior Citrix Administrator

We are seeking a Senior Citrix Administrator to join our team supporting an ITES task order. Tek Synap is a fast-growing high-tech company that understands both the pace of technology today and the need to have a comprehensive well-planned information management environment.

The Senior Citrix Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting Citrix solutions within a mixed Windows Server 2019/2022 enterprise environment. This includes designing, installing, and maintaining Citrix components such as Xen App, Net Scaler Gateway, Citrix Storefront, and Citrix Director.

• Manage, maintain, deploy, and support Citrix solutions.
• Design, install, and maintain Citrix components.
• Execute system hardware and software implementations and maintain detailed technical instructions, SOPs, and policies.
• Monitor, tune, and harden systems to ensure optimal performance and security posture.
• Track system performance metrics, generate utilization reports, and identify areas requiring corrective action.
• Recommend and implement improvements to optimize system efficiency and availability.
• Support the full lifecycle of hardware/software, including firmware updates and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex applications and web services.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Power Shell scripting.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Five years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer with specific expertise in Citrix technologies.
• Three years of experience automating administrative tasks with Power Shell.
• Three years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and web servers.
• Three years working with complex networking solutions and strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Three years of experience supporting Cybersecurity practices.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Computing Environment certification (can be waived for 30 days after project join date).
• Secret clearance.
