System Engineer

Overview

System Engineer — Radford VA / Hybrid. Pay From: $125,000/yr.

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• 6+ years of experience in system engineering
• Strong hands on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration
• Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack - network, storage, server, and applications
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High attention to details
• Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical
• Current Security+ce or other IAT II certification
• Able to obtain a Windows Administration certification within 6 months of starting
• Bachelor Degree

• This position is for a Windows Engineer supporting multitenant private cloud hosting environment for hosting DoD enterprise and tactical application
• Help with the creation, Implementation, and Sustainment of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
• Work with Government engineers to develop and maintain the AECC architecture.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and sustainment of the Windows based services
• Maintain patching services for all Windows hosts to patch from
• Serve as overall subject matter expert on Windows Administrator technology and market capabilities/trends
• Manage objects stored in Active Directory as delegated by Active Directory administrators
• Harden the Windows based services per commercial best practices and the required government cybersecurity controls
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any Windows issues
