Job Description
  • Performs various maintenance, repair, and installation services as directed within Facilities Management, mainly in residential and dining facilities.
  • Services encompass all trades: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, roofing, moving, etc.
  • Assists with property inspections and report compilation.
Required Qualifications
  • High school education and specialized training with significant related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience indicating proficiency in the preceding knowledge and abilities.
  • Experience in general maintenance: painting, wall repair, carpentry, flooring, tile, trim, etc.
  • General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Ability to read and understand all safety policies and procedures and follow equipment and system manuals.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Experience working in a commercial or residential environment in areas including painting, wall repair, carpentry, flooring, tile, trim, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintenance experience in a residential, university or multi-residential community setting.
  • Experience working in a Dining or food service facilities environment.
  • Extensive experience in the fields of Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC.
  • Journeyman level license in Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC.
