Middle School Boys Soccer Coach

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily workouts and practice game sessions, attending all practices and soccer matches, supervising and instructing student-athletes during all team activities, preparing the soccer facility for all home matches, promoting balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes, and communicating effectively with parents, students, and school administrators.

• Conduct daily workouts and practice game sessions
• Attend all practices and soccer matches
• Supervise and instruct student-athletes during all team activities
• Prepare the soccer facility for all home matches
• Promote balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
• Motivate athletes
• Assist the varsity coach in building the soccer program and plan for its future

Qualifications

• CPR / First Aid Training, Fundamentals of Coaching Training, Health and Safety for Coaches, and Concussion Training preferred
• Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks
• Within three years of hiring, successful completion of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) course and test entitled "Basic Virginia High School League Course" accessible at  will be completed.
