Vehicle Technician​/MOT Tester

Simple Recruitment are looking for a Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester for a permanent opportunity with our client in Radstock.

Monday to Friday
8.00am to 5.30pm
Every other Saturday 8.00am t0 1.00pm

Training to advance skills available
22 days holiday, plus bank holidays

The Job:
To carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. To perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and ensure all work meets customer expectations and complies with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards
• Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and rectify where appropriate
• Complete all job cards and service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the workshop
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
• Keep up to date with technical developments and attend training as required

About You:
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and great customer manner to fit into our friendly team.

• NVQ level 3 qualified (level 2 may be considered)
• MOT tester preferred but not essential
• Experience with diagnosing, repairing and servicing a range of vehicles
